Set Your UVa Security Questions

As part of the University's in-person identity proofing process, you must show a government-issued photo ID to receive your University ID and a PassPhrase card. You use this PassPhrase card to log into this website through NetBadge and establish your set of personal security questions and answers.

Why You Need Personal Security Questions
You will use these questions to prove your online identity when logging into certain University computer systems that require a higher level of identity assurance. The use of these security questions is also an important part of the University's ongoing effort to eliminate reliance on Social Security numbers.

Important note for new students: your additional UVa computing accounts are not created until you complete this process.
